Shark vacuums. A great deal or a great source of land fill? opinions?
Aug 09, 2008
A common occourance in the vacuum business these days is the plight of the un-repairables.
It's my job more and more often to inform customers that their new purchase can't be repaired or serviced. They are mad, I'm disapointed, the store they bought it from is not responsible, but the manafacturer is laughing. A $90.00 vacuum? 90 days more like.
Every single person in my industry I've talked to has nothing but disgust and saddness regarding these type of no name brands.
Look in my bin any month and you will see almost new vacuums I've wasted time trying to fix and then have to pay to have hauled away. Even the back alley salvagers can't get enough metal off them to bother with.
Do I sound annoyed? These are strictly my opinions.
Do you have any input good or bad?
